Road Trips Ain’t Easy
Hey everyone! We are officially back from our vacation, and boy are we spent! Traveling (road tripping) and vacationing with a 2 month old and toddler is tough work. And I swear, if it wasn’t for my oldest daughter Sisi, the husband and I would be a hot mess! We decided to head out to Galveston, Texas (the closest thing to paradise in the Lone Star State) this past Monday.
From Dallas, Galveston is about 4 hours away–not too bad, but add a baby, plus a toddler to this equation, and this trip is easily turned into a good 6 hour drive. We made tons of stops–we stopped to feed the baby, stopped to eat, stopped for bathroom breaks–we literally just inched our way down Texas. Once we made it to the island of Galveston, we were already exhausted. I was honestly cool with staying in for the evening, enjoying our tiny and adorable beach cottage (I’ll blog about this soon!) However, the kids were super excited and wanted to explore.
The Ruffle Tee
Today, I’m talkin’ all about my travel style with SheIn. I wanted to wear something super easy, comfy and cool because it was going to be hot! I wore a white tee with a fun ruffle finish at the bottom. This top is cotton, so it feels really soft and it’s definitely made with quality. I honestly feel that this same tee could be sold at stores like Free People or Anthropologie, except they’d be triple the price. I paired this tee with high-waisted cut off shorts (see similar here), my Tory Burch sandals, and my incredible leather tote. See my links below to shop this post!
Wishing you all a happy day!
