Classic Bows

This look will be coming soon to the blog… I recently bought this off the shoulder bow top a few weeks ago, however, it went out of stock. Just got wind that it was back, and I can’t wait to show you all of the ways I styled it! Until then, shop my post below to snatch up this beauty or lookalikes, before you regret it.

Summer Defaults

Scallops and My New Color

I tend to gravitate to my go to colors, but coral mixed with scallops equal perfection! So obsessed with this coral open back Gina+Kate scalloped top! I’ve also added my new favorite lip color (see it here). Keep up with my blog for jewelry deets! Use my discount code, FRNDSSA10 for 10% off your purchase from Gina+Kate.

Tulle and the City

This past weekend the girls and I thought it would be fun to explore the colorful city of Deep Ellum in our casual princess attire. Ha! I mean why not, right? My layered tulle skirt is to die for–and something crazy, the price is under 20 bucks, it’s a one sizer, and the quality is amazing!

Ruffles

Ruffles just make everything better…  Stay tuned throughout the week for more ways to wear this top! Shop the post below for direct links! For this top, use code, MEMDAY30 for 30% off!

Summer Hats

Love finding cool summer hats, especially when they have fun splashes of color! This one in particular was a vintage find, however, shop my post below this caption for more of my faves!

Summer and Gingham

Gingham is a must for the summer… Shop my post below for my favorite gingham dresses, most of them less than $100 bucks! The dress I’m wearing is by Chicwish, unfortunately it’s sold out, however, if it restocks I’ll be sure to let you know!

Weekend to Work Flow

From weekend ready to work ready… Last week I posted a blog about transitioning your summer pieces into work wear–this is a great way to stretch your wardrobe and budget. One way to make this transition is to simply add a classic black blazer. See my post post below for direct links.

That Cold Shoulder

The cold shoulder blouse is a must this Spring and Summer. Here is a sneak peek to my upcoming blog post.

Floral Flare

Ever since Sex and the City, I’ve always tried to channel my inner Carrie Bradshaw. I love vintage pieces, especially when they are truly one of a kind. I found this Laura Ashley vintage sundress on Ebay years ago, but thanks to Etsy, I can now easily find lookalikes for my followers. Shop this look below!

The off the shoulder blouse has been the anthem of the year! This look has been trending for a while and it’s still on the rise. I tried something more unconventional this time around–instead of pairing this spring top (from H&M *old, but see similar here) with light pants, I created a nice contrast with high waisted trousers from Topshop Nordstrom. I also added a pop of red with my Mac lipstick and fringe Steve Madden heels. Shop this look below!

More pastel love…  On my last blog post; rockin’ the Pastels with an Edge, you can see that this can be expressed in many ways. Today’s featured look is a chic tomboy inspiration. I found this awesome button up at Target, and my statement necklace is from my new partner in crime, Lovel Lou, you can follow them on Instagram @lovelloujewelry. For the rest of my look, shop below!

Feelin’ a bit frugal today–and I sort of missed my #thriftythursday window… but thank goodness for #frugalfridays! See more here… I absolutely love thrift shopping because you can seriously find some amazing treasures at ridiculous prices. I found this nude mesh top and patchwork suede jacket at my favorite resale store, Your Resale in Carrollton, TX. You can follow them on IG @resalestyle or visit them in store if you’re in the Dallas area. I also found these fabulous Coach booties at another thrift store. For this look, shop my post below for inspiration. I found a lot of lookalikes on the ASOS, Forever 21, and 6pm.com websites. I also found this EXACT jacket on Etsy. Happy Friday!

Love supporting my sweet blogger friends… @fashionstylista_blog has designed her own tee, “I eat Chanel for breakfast.” Ha! I wish… One day I’ll get there. Check her out and follow. She has amazing style, photos and video.#womensupportingwomen 💋 This shirt is available through her bio! It’s super cute!

If you follow my blog, you know that I’ve been obsessed with fringe since day one. I love this vintage inspired tweed dress by SheIn. All of the bright colors make this dress a show stopper. Believe it or not, this dress can also be played up and down–just see for yourself by checking out my 2015 Spring Lookbook video.

Look 2: Jeffrey Campbell Mary Jane platforms and vintage doctor bag.

Ready for anything! In Texas, you never know what kind of weather to expect. Last week I spent my entire Spring Break trapped indoors since it rained non-stop, and on this past Sunday, it reached a high of 93 degrees! So with that, I’m ready for whatever mother nature brings my way!

Today I’m featuring two looks, a light spring look and a more casual, yet warm look. My top is another Target find by Who What Wear. My coat is from Zaful, and found my Adidas for a good deal at JC Penney. Also, big thanks to Eye Feel Shady for allowing me to try out these awesome sunnies, and to Your Resale in Carrollton, TX for these beautiful earrings!  For the rest of my outfit deets, shop my post below! Have a wonderful week!
