Sigh… You will have to excuse me here, any mention of fall causes me a little stress. The fall is actually my favorite season, and It’s also the most stable season here in Dallas. However, the fall also brings a very stressful time of year for me… back to school. Yep! That teacher summer vacation is quickly coming to an end, and I am not ready!
From Summer to Fall…
What I am ready for? The perfect pieces that will easily roll over from summer to fall. I would actually say that my favorite season to dress for is the fall as well. I love the boots, light sweaters, jackets, and lengthier dresses. This is probably why I love this bell sleeve tribal dress by Zaful so much!
Zaful is one of my favorite online retailers. They sell on trend clothes at unbelievable prices. The quality of their clothing is also pretty amazing, and I always feel like I can get more bang for my buck! While shopping on Zaful’s website, you’ll notice that it’s easy to navigate with everything clearly categorized. Their sizing guide is also super easy to use–I’ve never had any sizing issues. Whenever I order from Zaful, they package everything with great care, and they offer many options as far as expedited shipping.
Bell Sleeve Dress
Today’s Zaful look is a stunning bohemian bell sleeve tribal dress with a gorgeous suede feathered belt. The beautiful print and dramatic sleeves definitely make this dress stand out. My favorite features of this dress… the side slits and bell sleeves! This dress has some length to it, so the side slits really give it that subtle touch of sexiness. I’m also always a fan of the drama–the bell sleeve features really give it that dramatic and romantic look.
If you take a look at my photos below, you will see that I transition from summer to fall in this tribal dress by changing from sandals, suede over the knee boots, and tan leather booties. Oh, and I almost forgot… the price just may shock you… it was less than 20 bucks! Crazy right? See for yourself by clicking here!
See below for a little summer/fall inspiration! Clearly, my two-year old even approves! Ha!
This summer I’m all about adventure! Being teachers and all, my husband and I both have the same summer vacation, and this year we planned on doing something a little different. Rather than flying out to a destination, we thought it would be exciting to a take a road trip and meet up with my sisters and their families at the Grand Canyon in Arizona; sort of a mini family reunion.
Now, keep in mind we do have a two-year old, meaning we need to take our time. With that I thought, how cool would it be to make a mini stop in New Mexico? The hubs doesn’t know about my little plan just yet, but he will shortly!

With this festive pit stop we make, the girls and I are surly going to need to look the part, and I would say our striped and festive dresses will be perfect! You can find my dress from ASOS, see similar here, here, here, and here, complete with wrap up heels by Steve Madden or gladiator sandals from Target, and an authentic Mexican leather bag, which can be found via Etsy. Now that I’m sort of an official blogger–well kind of… Ha! I receive notifications when a big sale is going on. So can you say, 40% off? I love a good sale–especially when it’s at Shopbop. Normally, the things I’m drawn to the most at this designer online retailer are not in my budget–however, when they have a sale, I really try to take the opportunity to treat myself.
With summer being just around the corner, I’m trying to prep for vacations, those summer pool parties, and even the weddings I will be attending. See my lookbook below to shop my top 10 sale finds! This Shopbop sale does not require a discount code, however, it’s only 3 days, so take advantage and stock up on your summer goods!
For some reason, every winter my wardrobe turns to blah–desperately lacking color! It’s even evident on my Instagram feed. Other than my pop of reds from Christmas, you can sort of see the color fade away for the winter.
Saying NO to Segregation
Don’t get me wrong, I love my wardrobe choices, but it’s like the color gets sucked right out of my closet! And yes, it does have a lot to do with the fact that companies tend to focus on the neutrals for the winter, and release their ‘colored’ clothes in the spring and summer. But hey… let’s not segregate our seasons here! And who’s to say colors have to be muted in the winter? Well, I’m ready for a change… I need a pop of color in my life, or at least on my Instagram feed. Ha!
My Color Fix
Today’s dress was another PinkBlush find! Hey, I know this is my second PinkBlush post this week, but they have killer deals, and I wanted to share my looks before it was too late! Not only are their looks chic, but they’re also made beautifully and with comfort in mind for us busy women. The best part of all, these clothes are affordable. For my mamas who are pregnant or in that transition period, PinkBlush’s trendy maternity clothes, and even their women’s line, will suit you perfectly.Today’s gorgeous floral draped maxi dress, (here it is as a cute maternity dress) was the perfect pop of color I needed to give me my color fix!
