Bring on the Color!

As the spring quickly approaches, my wardrobe also seems to be blossoming. I naturally start filtering out the dull colors within my closet, and replace them with more vibrancy. Adding florals to your wardrobe is one of the easiest ways to incorporate color into your life. They seem to just go hand in hand with the spring season,  and when you mix your florals with unconventional looks like denim–you honestly can’t go wrong.

Pops of Florals

With this pregnancy, I know I’ve mentioned in previous posts that my energy is extremely low, so along with that low energy, comes the need for dressing comfortably. Today’s featured piece is a denim jacket with embroidered roses. This jacket is perfect for dressing up or down your outfit of the day. If I had the energy, I’d probably show you all multiple ways to wear this jacket–if I could fit into a cute white maxi sundress with gladiator sandals, I totally would, but I’m kind of limited with spacing at the time. Maybe after the summer (fingers crossed). Today, I wore this jacket casually with a subtle touch of street fashion. The best way for me to get around is in tennis, so I simply paired it with black distressed Blogger Sasha Agent Spring Florals | Denim Jacketdenim and my original Adidas.

Major Deal

You may be shocked to find that this jacket is only $30 bucks from my fave, SheIn! The rose embroidery is what really makes this jacket unique and perfect for the upcoming spring season–which is literally around the corner.  SheIn’s entire spring line up is looking pretty tempting right now, so be sure to check out their daily updates! They constantly update their site with the latest trends and looks of the season!

Enjoy the rest of your beautiful week!

The Floral Maxi

Good morning my friends! It’s a brand new week, meaning I’ve got a brand new look for you! The floral maxi dress… It has been around for the longest. This is a staple dress that is perfect for the Spring, Summer, and even the Fall.

Never Can Say Goodbye

Today’s inspired look came from my new boots. You all know I LOVE my boots! Is it that obvious? Ha! I’ve actually had my eye on these Topshop sock boots from Nordstrom for a few months now, and finally snatched them up. At first I thought I would invest in heels for the Spring, however, I realized that these ankle boots could very much so roll over to warmer weather. When I found this beautifully made dress by Forever 21; I knew these gorgeous boots would pair nicely.

Dress it Up and Down

For a more dressed up look, I took fringe nude heels and a simple tie up necklace to give this dress a subtle Spanish flare… This look would be perfect for date nights, lunch with the ladies, or even a Spring wedding.

To tone it down a bit, I layered this dress with a denim jacket by J. Crew (use coupon code SCORE for 30% off!), a basket tote, and beautiful espadrilles from Forever 21.

In the ‘Fashion’ Know

So we can finally say it’s officially Spring–and thank goodness for that, because I am officially OVER winter looks! One cool thing about being a fashion blogger is that I’m more aware of style trends–I guess it’s kind of my job, and now I feel my look is more relevant and current. This means, when I’m in the fashion know, I get to keep you all in the loop as well… double winning!

Frayed Days

Something extremely relevant this Spring is frayed denim. You got to see a little bit of this trend through my recent JOA striped jumpsuit, as seen here. I’m loving this frayed trend (also seen here and here on Shopbop) because it adds exactly what I love the most about style–that subtle touch of edginess.

Fashion Union

Recently I discovered an affordable, yet trendy brand, by the name of Fashion Union. This line is right up my ally because of their affordability and unique styles. Want to know something even better? I’ve recently spotted them on one of my favorite online spots, ASOS, and in store at Target. I about died when I found out Target started carrying their brand; y’all know I love me some Targé!

Split Personalities

Today, I’m bringing you two fab looks using one top by Fashion Union. This adorable top is the perfect blend of girly girl with an edge. I love the mixture between the classic collar and the cropped frayed edge–giving this top a seriously cool vibe. If you’re loving this frayed top, you may also be interested in its matching set, seen here for cheaper at Target. I’ve paired this top with two looks that highlight it’s split personalities; a cute and classic tulle skirt to match its girly girl side, as well as chic black high-waisted pants by Topshop to match its edginess.

See my pictures below to see how I spiced up today’s looks. You can also shop this post once you get to the very end!

FYI

Last weekend I posted about my obsession with the fringed heel trend. I took advantage of that sale, however, I recently discovered that the same heels by Steve Madden are even cheaper at Nordstrom! Click here to save! This means I may have to get them in yellow! Yikes! My husband is going to kill me! Ha!

Happy Monday!

A Not So Spring Break & My 2015 Spring Lookbook

Spring is Here?

Ahhh… Spring is finally upon us… Time for warmer weather, bright clothes, and awesome heels. Ha! I’m actually writing this post on the last day of my Spring break–which was rained on the entire time–naturally right. So that meant, I had exactly two days of good blogging weather, last Saturday and today. And let me tell you, it’s not easy shooting pictures and filming video footage with a toddler, pre-adolescent 10 year old, and an impatient husband. However, we managed to get it together.

A Not So Spring Break & My 2015 Spring Lookbook www.sashaagent.comLookbook

Today’s lookbook is a bit more edgier–I would say at least. I’m loving this whole street fashion phenomenon, because it mixes two fabulous elements that I love–chicness and comfort. I love that I can still chase after my toddler if needed , and yet still look fabulous doing so. Here’s what you can expect from me this Spring–light jackets, blazers, belts, pops of color, sporty chic, fringe (but of course), stripes, sun glasses from my fave, Eye Feel Shady, and jumpers!

Take a look at this week’s video blog to get a glimpse at what I have in store for you! Also shop this post below for my key Spring pieces.

Classic Stripes with a Twist by Sasha Agent

Let’s Talk Classic America

Last week I had the amazing opportunity to make an appearance (well my voice at least) on a podcast show by the name of American Layers. American Layers is a show that focuses on individuals who share particular obsessions with classic clothes such as, Ralph Lauren, preppy fashion, as well as anything Americana. So why was I interviewed? Ha! I would say the bulk of our conversation revolved around my two years as an American Sweetheart for the Dallas Cowboys. Naturally we spoke fashion as well, and let’s just say host, Dave Money, gave me inspiration to tap into my preppy side.

Seeing Classic Stripes

After my interview with Dave, I wanted to see what Ralph Lauren had in store for Spring 2016. Of course I was inspired and in love! I saw stripes, classic prints, yet there was still an edginess. I loved that there was something a bit unconventional about certain pieces. Dresses with pockets, asymmetrical designs, pops of bright colors to off set the classic–so immediately I fell in love. Unfortunately, I wasn’t so crazy about the prices. It was nice to window shop, but I was on a mission to find a similar, yet affordable look.

My New Jam

Success! This week I’m featuring a super fun striped two piece set by J.O.A. Los Angeles (Just One Answer). I found exactly what I was inspired by in the Spring Ralph Lauren collection–classic stripes with just a touch of unconventional. You guys also know I’m a sucker for dresses with pockets, but what really makes this set so different is the top. This cropped tie top can be tied in the front, or the back allowing for multiple looks–another win! Follow my blog this week as I show you how I took this set and turned it into six more classic, yet edgy looks!

Check out  my pictures below to shop my looks, and don’t forget to check out this week’s YouTube video for a sneak peek! My episode isn’t ready yet, but be sure to tune into American Layers for more classic fashion talk.

Have a wonderful week!
