The Pinstriped Jumper in 3 Ways
I discovered how to rock this look 3 different ways! For the first look, I simply wore a fitted white tee underneath my Zappos jumper for a chic day look. Second, I wore this beauty as is, showing off the stunning drop back. Finally, I layered the jumper with a cropped black blazer (see similar here) so it could work for business attire as well. The Best Boyfriend
That’s right! I’ve found the best boyfriend, and he’s soft, light weight, and well rounded… Ha! You’re probably like, “Wait, aren’t you married?” I’m talkin’ this Old Navy white boyfriend button up. It was made for a woman, but also created as if you borrowed it from the boyfriend or hubs. This is literally my default shirt, and it pairs perfectly with pretty much anything! Shop my post below for this look! Happy Friday!
The New Statement Piece
The suede tie choker/necklace is currently the must have. The best part of all–they’re super cheap! That’s what I’m talkin’ about. Check out shops like Forever 21, Free People, Nasty Gal, and Etsy for these super chic pieces! Also, Target’s Who What Wear line has released new pieces like the first dress I have featured above… Take advantage because this line is only available in certain stores and selections are limited. I find online is the best place to shop for this line, and right now they’re having a buy 1, get 1 50% off sale (women’s clothing). Whoop whoop!
The Spring Trench with a Knotted Belt
Spring brings beautiful flowers, and unfortunately the rain. However, a light trench coat is the perfect way to stay chic and covered. Add a knotted belt to add a fierce statement to your look! Shop my top trenches (most under $100) and favorite knotted belts below! Happy Friday!
Stripes with Almost Everything
Since blogging, I’ve discovered that stripes are virtually error proof! When it comes to paring pieces with stripes, the possibilities are endless. As you can see, I’ve paired my latest striped tie top by J.O.A. with a multi-colored pencil skirt–who would’ve thought right? Click through my links below for this look! Also check out my latest #ThriftyThurdsday for statement earrings!

Street Girly Girl
Today’s Fashion Tip: Give your girly girl look an edge by adding a couple of fierce accessories to your #ootd. Here I wore a very girly tulle skirt and paired it with floral heels. I then added edge to this look by layering with a leather jacket and a bold red fringe purse for a fierce contrast.
Today’s Fashion Tip: Take a risk and play a little peek-a-boo with your style. You can tastefully show off a little skin if you pair your cropped top with high waisted bottoms. I took this tan midi skirt, and paired it with a classic cropped turtle neck. Many people think your mid section must be in tip top shape to pull this off, but this isn’t necessarily true. You’re only showing off the very top of your stomach, and this tends to be the most flattering part of the belly.
Today’s Fashion Tip: If you’re new to my blog, you’ll notice that I’m all over the place as far as style. I can honestly say that I don’t really have just one look. I also love the idea of mixing different looks like above. On this day I was channeling my inner bohemian punk. I took these AMAZING Native American beaded earrings (a gift from a dear friend and co-worker), and mixed them with my punk styled leather jacket from Zara. The two styles just blend together perfectly. For more earrings like this, click here and here. For a similar jacket click here and here.
Pockets + Dresses =’s Chic
Today’s Fashion Tip: Clearly I’m obsessed with pockets and dresses. For some reason a dress or skirt with pockets is must buy–it just adds a whole new level of chicness. Click below for some awesome “pocket looks!”
This Elle Lain dress is sold out, however, click here and here and here for similar looks.
Today’s Fashion Tip: Have you noticed that heels are becoming more strappy? This kind of scared me at first, it just didn’t really appeal to me until I actually tried them for myself. The laces kind of add the “pop” element to a simple outfit, allowing the whole look to pop! Click here and here for my current favorite lace up heels!
NYE: Never Rule Out the Vintage
Today’s Fashion Tip: Never rule out going vintage for NYE. I serious lucked out when I found this 1970s Joy Stevens sequin dress. Totally fits in with my “Tone Down for What” NYE blog theme I got goin’ on. Check your local thrift store if you’re looking for something unique!
Break the Rules
Today’s Fashion Tip: #fiercetipoftheday Forget what your mama told you about mixing red and pink 👛👠. #doit! it’s actually a very flattering combo. See my, “How to Style 12 Days of Christmas” Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3–giving you tips on mixing and matching pieces you may already have.
Tan on Tan on Tan
Today’s Fashion Tip: There’s something about tan on tan that is so soft, yet fierce at the same time. This Elle Lain double layered fringe skirt paired with this tan sheer button up is a killer combo! However, you can try this look with anything tan. These brown pointed heels also finish this look off nicely.
Mix it up, to Dress it Down
Today’s Fashion Tip: The black leather mini is a classic. This skirt is a vintage 90s piece that I paired with a casual plaid shirt. Mixing leather bottoms with a casual top is a great way to dress down your look, yet still give you that edge. See my link in bio to check out more #ootd‘s from my #winter #lookbook #sashaagent
It’s all about the Two Piece Set!
I don’t know about you, but this mommy fashionista is on a budget! My husband limits my spending because, yes I’ll admit… It can get out of control! I featured this same top on my “10 Ways to Style a Tutu.” It’s the matching top to a two piece set by my affiliate, SheIn. Two pieces allow you to mix and match your separates, creating more #ootd’s!
