Chambray Maxi and the Classic Summer

Blogger Sasha Agent wearing chambray maxi dress with boater hat

Call me “The Chameleon of Fashion”

People often ask me to categorize my style, and honestly, I struggle with pinning myself to just one. I’m the type of gal who likes to dress according to three factors–my mood, my environment, and if my kids are with me… Ha! Just call me the “chameleon” of fashion.” I’m literally all over the place, which honestly doesn’t bother me one bit.

Today’s Mood

Today’s outfit of the day reflects my classic mood. Every now and then, I want to go back to the basics. Although I love trends, there’s just something so amazing about clothing that never goes out of style.  Simplicity and classic looks can really be so beautiful, and best of all, they are forever timeless. Does this mean that I don’t love trends? Absolutely not! Trends are what drive my blog–however, occasionally it feels good to share a good ol’ classic–like the chambray piece.

The Chambray Maxi

This Christin Michaels Enya Chambray Maxi Dress, a la Zappos, is a beauty! This chambray dress has gorgeous, yet simple features like the full button down front, two side slits, and a front tie–to add something subtly different. I think what really completes this look is my boater straw hat from Need Supply Co. or this similar hat for even cheaper (here) via Nordstrom.

Take a look at my photos below for a little classic inspiration. You can also shop my post at the bottom for direct links to today’s beautiful outfit of the day.

Wishing you a fabulous and classic Monday!

Off The Shoulder, Cut Outs, Bell Sleeves… All the Fixins

Blogger Sasha Agent wearing a red off the shoulder bell sleeve top

All the Fixins!

Every now and then you luck out in life and find multiple benefits in one thing. This one thing may be a new car with all the features you’ve always wanted, or it may be the perfect food–low in calories, but super delicious! Well today, I’m going to tell you about my “one thing” with all the fixins I’ve ever wanted!

Today’s gorgeous off the shoulder top is a Pixie Market beauty loaded up with all the best summer features… off the shoulders, cutouts, a killer vibrant color, and bell sleeves! Talk about score!

Off the Shoulder Season

Today, I’m showing you how to rock this look casually, however I’m also going to give you a few ways to dress this top up throughout the week!

Today, I’m wearing my new fave… a Pixie Market  red off the shoulder bell sleeve top (size up on this one, I have a medium) with vintage denim shorts upcycled and hand painted by Lauren Williams, owner of the amazing Elle Lain boutique (see similar vintage Lee denim cutoffs here and upcycled denim here). I’ve glammed up this look using my error-proof formula that I shared with you all Friday using my fancy gold slides by Lauren Conrad’s Kohl’s line. Next, I accessorized with a genuine suede bucket bag (see similar here or here), my favorite Coach aviators, and my red-hot lips (ruby red) by Mac Cosmetics from Nordstrom. For the second look, I simply changed out my Elle Lain upcycled denim for a classic front slit midi denim skirt (see similar here) I also swapped out my suede bucket bag for my favorite vintage Louis Vuitton clutch (see more from my favorite luxury Etsy shop, LV Luxury). Finally, with both OOTDs, I wore my favorite bar necklaces from the amazing Otra Vez.

If you’re obsessed with this look like I am, you can shop today’s OOTDs by scrolling the Shop the Post slider below. Quick tip… Pixie Market sells out of their top sellers super fast, however, if an item is out of stock–they’re usually pretty good about restocking and sending alerts if you sign up for notifications.

Happy Monday sweet friends! I’ll be back soon with more ways to wear this stunning top! Stay tuned!

Bow Obsessions… Off the Shoulder Top

Blogger Sasha Agent wearing white off the shoulder top

Bow Crazy

This week you’re going to notice a trend on the blog… I’m a little obsessed with the oversized bow.  Lately I’ve been finding them all over! They’re on blouses and tops! I’m seeing them on sleeves (like this one from Pixie Marketbags (like seen at Nordstrom), the back of tops (like today’s SheIn feature), and even sun glasses (like these from my partner, Eye Feel Shady). They’re literally all over the place, and I love it!

Today’s girly top is another off the shoulder beauty–however this time there’s a bow on the back, as well as a lovely peplum accent. You’ll find that the price of this SheIn top is crazy affordable… you would never guess that it was less than 20 bucks!

Farmer’s Market Style

I found this look perfect for the summer, and it went perfectly with what I like to call, ‘Farmer’s Market Style.’ One of my favorite things to do during my summer vacation is take advantage of fresh produce for the family. During the summer, things finally get to slow down for a bit, and with this extra time I can take advantage of a fresh farmers market experience. As I shopped, I received so many compliments! I even made a couple of local Instagram friends because of this beauty! Haha!

Take a look at my photos below to see how I styled this top! You can shop today’s looks by scrolling my ‘Shop the Post’ below! Let me know what you think about today’s look by leaving a comment!

The Beauty of Tan & an Off the Shoulder Romper

Blogger Sasha Agent wearing a tan off the shoulder romperMy Default Color

This past weekend my family and I took a trip to IKEA in search of the perfect playroom couch. Once my husband and I selected the style we liked, he left it up to me to choose a color. Naturally, I chose the best color ever… tan! He asked why tan seemed to be the default color in our house–and I broke down my brilliant philosophy.

The Beauty of Tan

Tan is a neutral color that sort of acts as a blank canvas for every other color. With a tan sofa, I can make it pop with decorative pillows and throws, or keep everything muted with other neutral colors–the same goes for neutral clothing.

Lookbook Store

Today’s OOTD (Outfit Of The Day) is another Lookbook Store phenomenon! Last week I shared 3 ways to wear a bathing suit–a brilliantly made lace one piece that you can easily multi-task in! This week’s Lookbook Store feature, the Apricot Off-Shoulder Drawstring Romper (see similar here), is a tan off the shoulder romper that can be worn with a pop of color or neutrally–highlighting its beautiful subtle color.

Just like my tan home decor, you can wear tan as your base color and literally capture whatever color of the rainbow you want! See my pictures below for inspiration, and shop today’s look by scrolling my Shop the Post slider at the bottom of this post!

Festive Summer Stripes you Need and New Mexico

Summer Adventure

This summer I’m all about adventure! Being teachers and all, my husband and I both have the same summer vacation, and this year we planned on doing something a little different. Rather than flying out to a destination, we thought it would be exciting to a take a road trip and meet up with my sisters and their families at the Grand Canyon in Arizona; sort of a mini family reunion.

Now, keep in mind we do have a two-year old, meaning we need to take our time. With that I thought, how cool would it be to make a mini stop in New Mexico? The hubs doesn’t know about my little plan just yet, but he will shortly!

Festive Summer Stripes

With this festive pit stop we make, the girls and I are surly going to need to look the part, and I would say our striped and festive dresses will be perfect! You can find my dress from ASOS, see similar here, here, here, and here, complete with wrap up heels by Steve Madden or gladiator sandals from Target, and an authentic Mexican leather bag, which can be found via Etsy. As for the girls, their dresses can be found at Target, Tay’s here, similar sandals here, and Sisi’s here, and gladiators here). Whether or not you go on an adventure this summer, just make sure you keep it festive with these must haves!

See my video blog and pictures below to see our festive styled dresses! Don’t forget to scroll all the way to the bottom to shop our looks! And, just FYI… ASOS literally just sold out of this dress as soon as it was delivered to my front door on Saturday; they do have other colors–which are linked on my Shop the Post below. Other than that, I found some amazing similar looks that you would enjoy, and I’ll keep you posted about restock alerts.

True Bravery is White on White

Sasha Agent wearing white who what wear peplum top | sashaagent.com

Bravery

Bravery… Bravery means taking a risk–a chance. Bravery is also wearing white on white.

Haha! Okay, being a bit dramatic, but rockin’ the white on white does take some serious guts–especially with kids.

Last weekend me and my baby girls went out to shoot some pictures, for the blog of course, and we had a blast acting silly, running around, singing, dancing–you know, being our usual crazy selves. After arriving home, I removed my skinny jeans and discovered about a million and one stains. Everything from lipstick, dirt, chocolate–it was all there! Ha! However, did I stress? Absolutely not! All I have to say is, thank the Lord for bleach!

Don’t be Afraid of the White on White

Some of my favorite pieces are all white. I’ve got some amazing dresses, comforters, pillowcases, rugs… I honestly don’t stress with white because I know I’ve got my handy dandy bleach! Problem solved! I actually find that whites are easier to save over colors when it comes to stains.

So although I may appear brave as I rock my white on white–I’m really super care free, and feeling ready for the summer!

What I’m Wearing

This week was clearly all about the summer Who What Wear Target collection, which is A-OK with me (see my previous Who What Wear post here). I seriously am obsessed with this line! This peplum top, (also available in plus sizes) with incredible detailing is another Target Who What Wear find. It’s simply beautiful. Next, I’ve paired this top with white distressed skinny jeans from Topshop Nordstrom, and my nude wrap up sandals by Steve Madden, also available at Nordstrom. Finally, I dressed this OOTD up with fun and colorful vintage earrings, (see similar here, and here) from my favorite resale store, Your Resale. For a bonus casual look, I paired this top with denim shorts, gladiator wrap sandals, and neutral earrings. To explore more of this look, simply shop the post below by scrolling to the bottom.

Enjoy the rest of your lovely week friends!
