Now that I’ve been blogging all about the big Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I’ve realized just how big of a deal it really is! Fall items discounted beyond belief, and in season designer pieces that would never cost this little! It really doesn’t get any better than that!
Yesterday, my Rebecca Minkoff Saddle bag (with handle) finally arrived! I ordered this gorgeous beauty during the early access Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for card holders. Well, the color I wanted was on backorder, however, looks like Nordstrom still got it out on time! As soon I received my bag yesterday afternoon, I noticed that Nordstrom restocked in all three fabulous colors: black, whiskey, and sandstone. I posted via Snapchat and Instagram about how much I love my new saddle bag–but just like that, she disappeared again! Yep… Sold out! But don’t lose hope! This sale has been going on since the middle of July, and it’s been sold out and restocked quite a few times. The best news, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale isn’t over until August 8th, so there still may be some time! I’m really hoping it’s restocked at least once more!
One More Week of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
Before you get too down, remember that there are so many options! I love Rebecca Minkoff products in particular, simply because they’re well made designer products, but prices are still somewhat affordable. For me at least… #teacherlife! Ha! See below for my favorite Nordstrom Anniversary Sale accessories! You can also click here for my top #NSale finds!
This past weekend I got to host a cheerleading clinic in my hometown of Sacramento, California. However, before getting to work, I got to spend a little leisure time with my dad and step mom in the beautiful city of San Francisco.
Now, if you’ve ever seen this amazing place–you would know that the weather is somewhat different. San Francisco is known for having its own sub climate, and it can be drastically cooler than the surrounding cities. When we arrived, it was 67 degrees–a nice break from the heat in the valley. I also thought this would be the perfect time to test out some of my early fall finds.
My family and I had fun enjoying the sites, like checking out the painted ladies, the Golden Gate Bridge, strolling the botanical gardens, and finally a picnic in Golden Gate Park. Oh, and I couldn’t pass up Chinese food in China Town! For dinner I wore my Christin Michaels black and white color blocked dress, also a Zappos find.
Check out my pictures below to see how I wore each look! You can shop the post at the bottom for direct links!
As soon as we got back from our big Grand Canyon trip, I realized that it’s that amazing time of the year… Not Christmas, but it could be the next best thing. It’s the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. So you may be thinking, yeah, yeah, another sale on seasonal pieces that will end up sitting in my closet once fall arrives… Nope! Check this out!
Nordstrom Holds the Sale of the Year
Once a year, Nordstrom offers their brand new fall styles at crazy discounted prices. During this seventeen day window, starting July 22nd, you will have access to shop fall trends and looks before the regular prices are set on August 8th. But here’s the best part, Nordstrom card holders get early access to this sale starting now through July 21st… sort of a little VIP treatment. If you don’t have one, you can apply and immediately start shopping upon approval. And finally, you can earn reward points to shop–it’s a win win!
So here’s what you need to do… Sign up for a Nordstrom debit or credit card in order to shop now for the early access sale, or simply shop exclusive sales starting July 22nd through August 7th. However, if I were you, I would take advantage as soon as possible–here’s why…
Jump on It!
As soon as the early access sale began, I immediately started to browse. I fell in love with a Rebecca Minkoff saddle bag in beige, which was discounted by about 40%! This is practically unheard of for an item that hasn’t even been released for the fall! So what did I do? I dropped it in my online shopping cart and said I’d purchase in the morning. Well… the beautiful color I wanted was sold out by that time (sigh) so when I saw that it was still available by backorder in the color whiskey, I jumped on it and bought it!. My point is, you have to jump on these deals immediately!
I purchased a few more items online as well. I prefer online shopping at Nordstrom mainly because I’m getting access to more than what the physical store can carry. If you shop my lookbook below, you will find a few of the items I purchased, as well as about 17 more that are on my current wish list… ha! If only I could have it all… For now, browse or shop the Nordstrom Anniversary sale–just be prepared to be blown away!
