Repost: CheerTime101’s 60 Day Feel Good Challenge: Week 6

CheerTime101's 60 Day Feel Good Challenge: Week 6Hoping you found your inner child by being judgmental free… Yes, it’s tough, but you feel so much better about yourself at the end of the day.

This week we are going to try something that I’ve already been practicing with my middle school students, and it’s amazing. We’ve been reading a book called, The Positive Dog, written by Jon Gordon. One of Gordon’s philosophies is to turn your complaints into gratitude–and let me tell you now, this is so powerful. Simply take something you’re complaining about, and find a way to turn it into being thankful. For example, I often complain about choreographing–it’s literally something that I dread, but often have to do. I then stop my complaining, and think to myself just how fortunate I am to even have my limbs, or even a brain that is capable of creating. So this week’s challenge is that simple; take your complaints and turn them into gratitude.

Good luck, and let me know how you are doing. You can hashtag, #sashaagent or #cheertime101. Tag me on Instagram or Twitter, @snafierce!

Repost: CheerTime101’s 60 Day Feel Good Challenge: Week 5

Channel your inner child... No judgementsThat’s right! You did it! Your are officially half way through! So what have you learned this far? So far I’ve learned the power of positivity and social connections.

Last week we tried something that, I’m sure, made us a little uncomfortable–the eye contact challenge. However, did you noticed that being more engaged in conversation created a rich connection? Most likely the person speaking felt really comfortable and supported.

This upcoming week, I want you to try challenging yourself to eliminate all judgmental thoughts. As you can see I have my youngest daughter’s picture posted for today’s challenge. The reason for this is simple, I want you to channel your inner innocent child.

And be honest with yourself, we all judge. We all make judgments about others, whether it’s a stranger we pass by on the street, a celebrity, or even an Instagram picture we come across (I’m definitely guilty here, ha!). This week, try catch yourself in the act of judging–and simply stop yourself from continuing that thought. Then replace your thought with, “It’s really not my place to judge.”

Good luck, and let me know how you are doing. You can hashtag, #sashaagent or #cheertime101. Tag me on Instagram or Twitter, @snafierce!

CheerTime101's 60 Day Feel Good Challenge: Week 4Can you believe it? You are already almost half way through! Congratulations! As for me, I’m almost finished, but I can tell you now, I’m experiencing some life changing results! I’m more energized, productive, happy, and positive.

Last week you were introduced to a social challenge. Hopefully you’ve made some new connections. Now it’s time to add something that will really keep you engaged with your new connections. This week I want you to try something that may make you a little uncomfortable-the eye contact challenge. And it’s okay to be a bit uncomfortable at times. Something as simple as making eye contact can really deepen your relationships. It shows the person speaking that you are truly listening and really care about what they have to say.

Dallas Yoga in the City

Yoga in the CityBecause of my hectic weekdays balancing teaching, motherhood, blogging, and what not–I truly do treasure my weekends.

Recently I researched some family friendly events taking place in the area, and I came across a free yoga class hosted by the Dallas Yoga Center at Klyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas. I thought…

“Jackpot!”

It’s free, and it’s in an environment where the little ones (meaning my toddler and husband) could run around!

The format of the class was perfect and the instructor kept a great pace. She also differentiated the moves for all levels.

So Dallas locals… Guess what? It’s every Saturday morning, from 10-11am! This is honestly such an amazing way to clear your head, burn some calories, enjoy the beautiful fall weather, and soak in the beautiful downtown scenery. For more information and details, click here!

Hope to see you there!

Repost: CheerTime101’s 60 Day Feel Good Challenge: Week 3

CheerTime's 60 Day Feel Good Challenge Hoping we are all feeling a true difference this week! So far I’m feeling more optimistic about my future goals and it’s honestly making me more productive. I’m sure you’ve noticed that I’m going 100% full out on my new site, SashaAgent ‘Living Life Full Out.’  It’s so easy to become discouraged as a new blogger–building a new audience and followers–and the positive emails I feel are the most helpful. They remind me of the challenges I faced the day before, and they help me prevent them from occurring again–it’s such a brilliant tool!

Last week you were also supposed to add smiling to your weekly regime. Now to add on to that, I would like to introduce the interaction challenge. This new challenge will be to simply be a bit more social. If you’re already pretty social, great! This week try to reach out to someone you may interact with, but never really took the time to get to know. Or if you’re more on the shy side, try to make a positive comment on someone’s media post through a hashtag you follow on social media. Toward the end of the week, try reaching out to someone you too interact with, but again, don’t really know–and try to learn more by simply asking them genuine questions.

Good luck, and let me know how you are doing. You can hashtag, #sashaagent or #cheertime101. Tag me on Instagram or Twitter, @snafierce!
