What a Girl Wants…

What girl doesn’t love a good pair of comfy leggings? Especially a pregnant one… ha! I must admit that leggings are sort of my weekend jam right now. Like I stated in my last post, my pregnancy bump-date, I’m a mess right now… to sum it up, I have ZERO energy! So leggings right now just help make life slightly easier.

Making a Statement

Since I’ve got this whole comfy, chic thing down to an art, I might as well make a statement Blogger Sasha Agent wrap up statement leggingswhile I’m at it, right? So I’ve actually owned a pair of leggings very similar to these from a high end brand. At one point, they were my faves. However, after literally 2 washes, my favorite 90 dollar pair of leggings were ruined and faded.

ROMWE to the Rescue!

Now I’ve introduced you all to ROMWE on a previous post before, a super trendy, yet affordable online retailer. I found these super Blogger Sasha Agent wrap up statement leggingslightweight leggings on their site and decided to see if they would make good replacements. My verdict… they’re perfect! These leggings definitely will not fade due to the material they’re made of, so already they’re winning. My next plus, these beauties were less than 10 bucks! Yep! I know!

Check out the ROMWE site for more of their leggings and athletic attire. What I love is that you can still make a statement without paying a ridiculous amount of money. In addition to that, feel free to splurge on whatever else you may want to add to your wardrobe!

Reality Check

Two weeks ago, I blogged about my summer cardio workout routine. Well, talk about an epic fail–I kind of forgot about the whole, “You should ease into a new workout,”kind of reality. You see, I attempted to go back to doing my own post pregnancy workout routine and realized that after taking about a year off from consistent exercise, one should (key word) ‘gradually’ increase cardio activity. I also forgot that I’m not 20 anymore… Sigh.

Leggings that Motivate

After realizing this, I’m not gonna lie, I became a bit discouraged. I thought of every excuse toSasha Agent wearing Free People Turn Out Leggings. pink sports bra and Nikes avoid working out–I even thought of calling it quits all together. That is until I found the leggings that give life! While cruising the Free People website, I stumbled upon their incredible fitness line and spotted these gorgeous wrap up/turn out leggings. Well, I actually forgot I owned these, and even DIY’ed a pair back in the day before purchasing the real deal. After pairing these beauties with my pink North Face sports bra and new Nikes from Kohl’s… I had me an awesome ‘Fitness Outfit of the Day,’ as well as new motivation! Besides, how else was I going to show off this awesome look?!

I would recommend this modified version for at least two weeks before testing out the original version of this routine. Let me know how it goes, and feel free to comment after trying it out!

Hold me Accountable

So I’m gonna try something new, but I sort of need your help in regard to being held accountable… This summer, since time is on my side and all, I want to start working out. You see, I inherited these awesome genes from my dad where I really don’t have to be active to maintain my weight. Now, before you shut your laptop on me, hear me out when I say this isn’t exactly a blessing. With the food I eat and my lack of exercise, I feel like one day my health may dramatically turn on me–especially with diseases like cancer and heart disease being prevalent within my family.

The Plan

Starting today and hopefully every Wednesday, hopefully… I plan to share a “Work it Out” #OOTD (outfit of the day) as well as a fitness tip or “Work it Out” fitness routine. I figured, why not inspire my followers, all while improving my health? it’s a win win!

Today I’m rockin’ a beautiful mesh racer back tank and super chic mesh joggers from a new line known as Shabbella. Work it Out!

Cardio… Ughhh… I know, I know–but this is the best way to snap back into shape and lose weight. I created and used this, “Work it Out” routine to whip my body back into shape after having my two-year old–it seriously works–sucks, but works!
